Join your colleagues by leading an engaging and thoughtful conference session to advance the field of academic advising. The conference provides an opportunity to draw from our collective knowledge and reconnect with our community.

The 2022 Academic Advising & Student Success Conference planning committee invites members of the academic advising and student success communities to submit program proposals that resonate with the conference theme of

“Building Bridges – Enhancing the Volunteer Experience”

Submission Guidelines

Program Theme:
While all proposals that connect with this broad theme will be considered, the committee is particularly interested to review submissions related to the following areas:

  • Well-being
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
  • Collaboration with Campus Partners

Submission Criteria:
Your proposal will be evaluated using the following four standards:

  • Contribution to the conference thematic areas
  • Conceptually strong foundation
  • Clearly stated learning outcomes
  • Engaging program format that involves the audience and stimulates discussion

Submission Components:

  1. Presenter(s)
  2. Program Title
  3. Program Theme
  4. Program Format & Summary
    • Descriptive Summary
    • Learning Outcomes
    • Outline of Program Flow
    • Technology needs

Submission Timeline:

  • May 4: Call for programs is open
  • July 1: Program submission deadline
  • July 5: Registration opens
  • July 22: Program notification
  • August 19: Last day to register
  • September 7: Pre-Conference sessions
  • September 8: Full Conference
